Our annual Leadership Induction Ceremony puts a spotlight on our students who have stepped up to school leadership roles this year. This includes our Student Representative Council, RE Angels, Library Monitors and Year 6 Committees. Thank you to all the parents and carers who were able to join their children to share this special moment with them. We are sure they will deliver on their roles and promises this year to support their peers and make 2025 a wonderful year.

Last Friday we all attended church for an Opening School Mass where we welcomed our new students and teachers to our Bethany community. The children were very respectful and sang beautifully ❤️

MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS 2.15pm - 2.45pm A reminder that Bethany has an amazing second hand uniform supply right here at school thanks to the generous donations from families and our incredible parent helpers who run such a slick operation! Yesterday, we celebrated the blessing and reopening of our newly refurbished basketball and netball courts. We are thankful to our Assistant Parish Priest Father Sheldon Burke, Father Philip Alesin from CSDP and our local State Member for Badgerys Creek, Mrs. Tanya Davies for championing this cause on our behalf. This project has been a dream come true thanks to the dedication and generosity of everyone involved. The children are absolutely thrilled with the new courts!

HOLIDAY WORK AT BETHANY During the holiday break, significant work was completed including: 🔸 Refurbishment of our basketball/netball courts 🔸 External painting of all structural poles, classroom window louvers and all doors to Year 1 & 2 block 🔸 Installation of new astro turf outside K, 1,2,3, 4 & 5 classrooms 🔸 Paving outside K, 1, 2 & 5 classroom entrances adjusted 🔸 Eaves to Year 6 building sheeted and painted and external doors to Year 6 replaced as per other classrooms 🔸 Refurbishment work to Year 3 & 4 classrooms continued - due to be ready by late Febraulary. 🔸 Library refurbishment planning continued - due to start at the end of February. 🔸 Sanding and revarnishing of hall floor 🔸 6 additional TV monitors will shortly be installed in the hall to work in unison with the projector. 🔸 New shade sails will be installed during February We extend our gratitude to ICG and to CSPD for their exceptional work and support. 🙏🙏🙂🙂
